Project Summary and Scope
This project is required to maintain compliance with the treatment requirements of the City’s Waterworks Operations Permit. This project replaces an aging residuals removal system with new collection/removal system in all four basins and makes necessary electrical and structural modifications to support the new system. These improvements are required to comply with the City's Waterworks Operations Permit.

Construction Start – June 2014
Construction Completion – May 2018
DPU Water Utility Enterprise funds in the amount of $17,000,000. Funds for this project were appropriated prior to Fiscal Year 2016-2017.
Project Status Updates
Construction is approximately 75% complete. By April 30, 2017, 3 of the 4 basins will have been completed. Work on the final basin will begin in September 2017.

Performance Measures and Benchmarks
Details concerning progress are reviewed at weekly construction meetings. Actual performance of new residuals removal system is monitored continuously when in operation.
